The Importance of Upgrades in World of Warcraft
Upgrades are new items that boost your stats. They can be used to upgrade your armor, trinkets and weapons.
To determine probabilities, item upgrades are based on "upgrade pity". This system is designed to limit extremes of chance and provide security in the event of an upgrade.
Armor
The item upgrader allows players to upgrade the level of their equipment for their armor, trinkets and weapons. The upgrade is applied to the equipment when you visit an upgrader NPC with the appropriate currency. When you upgrade an item, it will upgrade the stats on that item.
This NPC is found in all major cities and is located in the corner of the city square, near a teleporter point. The NPC can upgrade any weapon, armor or trinket, excluding those that require a quest or crafting.
Note: The item you use to apply an upgrade is consumed for the duration of time. It is not possible to apply multiple upgrades to one piece. If you try to do so, the previous upgrade will be overwritten.
Upgrade your gear is a great method to maximize the power of your gear, and increase your damage, survivability, and overall power. If you have Benthic gear that you acquired through the War Within Mythic Dungeon it will be at level 385 and can be upgraded with [Prismatic manapearlsor [Prismatic manapearls]. Upgrades for your PvE gear are available across all accounts, however upgrades for PvP gear requires a specific currency, such as [Valorstones or [Harbinger Crests]. The amount of Valorstones needed to upgrade additional pieces of gear in an armor slot is reduced after the first upgrade for that gear.
Weapons
Weapons are a key component of any successful character, no matter if they're used to ward off an intruder, kill an intruder, win a target shooting contest, or simply hung on a wall. Whatever way you decide to use a specific weapon, you must be aware that it can be upgraded and change with your playstyle over time.
The process of upgrading weapons is done by visiting a Blacksmith that has a Weapon Workbench available. The workbench is located in the right side of the Roundtable Hold hub area, Blacksmith Hewg is an excellent option to upgrade your main weapon. Iji is a Smithing Master located in the northwestern region, "Road to the Manor" located in Liurna. Smithing Master Iji upgrades both armor and weapons.
In general, upgrading a weapon will increase the level of its weapon by 5. However it is the case for Azerite weaponry (see below) and other weaponry that is special, the item's ilvl will rise by 15. A player is limited to one active upgrade at a given time. If you try to upgrade a weapon when another upgrade is being applied it will fail and your weapon will return to its original ilvl.
Upgrades don't just boost the value of an item, but also give it additional stats which can be used to boost its effectiveness. Some of these upgrades will be passive while others may provide greater damage, more powerful attacks, greater range or critical strike chance.
Ashes of War weapons are rewarded when certain bosses of raid are defeated. Other upgrades can be added to weapons equipped with Whetblades, which are rare items that allow you to unlock new Affinities to infuse a weapon with.
When a weapon is upgraded, it will continue to receive upgrades as long as the player has the appropriate upgrade materials and currency in to. It's important to note that weapons can only be upgraded to a maximum level of 25. Players should upgrade their weapons only after they've acquired the maximum number of upgrades that are possible from regular and Whetblade item.
Trinkets
The Trinkets offer a variety of Boosts. They can be upgraded just like other equipment, through direct interaction with the Item Upgrader.
Stardew Valley is the place where you can find an item upgrading tool. To access it, you must take off any weapons or armor. The NPC will then appear with the red banner "Equiped" over his head.

The NPC at Shattering Rift gives players a new toy when they defeat the Ancient Beast. Similarly, the NPC at Eastern Guard Tower offers a unique trinket for players who defeat the Ancient Beast.
Set Pieces
A set piece is a crucial scene that raises the film and is remembered by the audience long after credits have rolled. It could be a scene that involves emotion, action or simply a visual display.
